| Western Slate, Inc. began in 1991 with the manufacturing of roofing slate. The roofing operation is located in Poultney, Vermont. In 2004 Western Slate diversified into various landscape stone products through their subsidiary WSI Landscape Stone, which is located in Granville, New York.
